Inalfa Roof Systems is hiring a full-time Controls Engineer for its Product & Manufacturing Engineering department at Cherokee Assembly. The role supports the specification, design, programming, testing, debugging, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, PLCs, robots, HMIs, automated assembly machinery, and related control systems for automotive roof systems. Responsibilities include PLC and LabVIEW programming, CAD and control-schematic design, protocol integration, data acquisition, documentation, continuous improvement, and support for maintenance and testing activities. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or automated manufacturing engineering and 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience, with automation, robotics, PLC, and industrial software expertise.
