IPG is hiring an on-site Controls Engineer for its Blythewood, South Carolina facility. The role serves as the site's primary controls engineer, owning PLC programming, HMIs, industrial networks, automation systems, electrical troubleshooting, VFDs, servo systems, and related equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving control systems, leading automation and capital improvement projects, analyzing production and downtime data, supporting predictive and preventive maintenance, and providing technical training to operations and maintenance teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field and at least three years of controls, automation, or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
