Description
ITAC is seeking a full-time Controls Engineer for a 12-month contract assignment working onsite at a client’s Richmond, Virginia manufacturing facility. The role supports the design, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability improvement of PLC-based control systems, HMIs, SCADA applications, electrical infrastructure, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and industrial automation projects. The engineer will develop engineering documentation, perform root-cause analysis, support commissioning and startup activities, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors, and engineering teams. The position requires 5–10 years of relevant industrial controls, automation, or electrical engineering experience and offers a base salary of $100,000–$145,000.
