Description
The Controls Engineer plans and coordinates technical aspects of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, labor, and production systems. Responsibilities include estimating equipment and labor, reviewing specifications, designing control systems and tools, coordinating vendors and cross-functional teams, debugging and launching production equipment, estimating costs and staffing, and improving productivity and quality. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, 3–5 years of experience, and knowledge of mechanical principles, machining, assembly, fabrication, PPAP, and FMEA.
