Description
Benchmark Automation is hiring an Electrical/Controls Engineer to design electrical controls for packaging machinery and material handling equipment. The role includes PLC, HMI, and servo programming; electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring schedules, component specification, risk assessments, client communications, startup and debugging, operator and maintenance training, electrical manual writing, and field and telephone troubleshooting. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, at least three years of control-systems experience, Allen-Bradley PLC programming, industrial electrical design, and mechanical-electrical integration experience, with up to 25% travel including occasional international travel.
