Scale Microgrids is hiring a Controls Engineer to design, develop, program, troubleshoot, and commission PLC-based electrical control systems for microgrid projects. The role also covers control hardware and instrumentation, site-level microgrid networks, cybersecurity, risk assessments, and coordination with clients and vendors. It is a hybrid position based in Oakland, Santa Monica, Ridgewood, or New York City, requiring PLC and controls experience, distributed energy knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
