Description
The Controls Engineer will document and evaluate existing electrical controls and manufacturing processes, specify new controls and processes, suggest operational improvements, investigate new technologies, troubleshoot production equipment, and train Operations and Maintenance personnel. The role also develops electrical standards, supports equipment purchasing, extracts procedural knowledge, and promotes electrical safety. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar technical degree, 5–10 years of related experience, prior manufacturing-plant experience, and experience with project and plant engineering, electrical troubleshooting, controls installation, and PLC programming.
