Description
SunOpta is hiring a Controls Engineer to design, implement, document, maintain, troubleshoot, and support manufacturing automation and control systems across process, packaging, and utility operations. The role focuses on Rockwell Automation PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, drives, instrumentation, industrial networks, FAT/SAT, control strategies, and reliability and safety compliance. It requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or a related field and at least five years of applied industrial automation and controls experience in a manufacturing environment. The position is based at SunOpta’s plant in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with up to 10% travel.
