ALSO is hiring a Battery Controls Engineer to develop and validate battery management system algorithms for electric vehicles, including thermal management, charging, power distribution, state estimation, protection strategies, embedded code generation, and model-based testing. The role requires a degree in engineering or a related field, strong battery and control-system knowledge, MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, C/C++, embedded code generation, and Vector tools experience. It is an onsite position requiring attendance five days per week, with possible limited remote flexibility, and offers a salary of $220,000 to $260,000 per year plus health, dental, vision, retirement, and family benefits.
