Description
Samtec, Inc. is hiring a Controls Engineer to design, implement, commission, and support control systems for advanced manufacturing equipment. The role leads controls development from requirements and architecture through PLC, HMI/SCADA, motion controller, and servo-drive programming; oversees electrical schematics and component selection; performs startup, debugging, tuning, and machine qualification; and provides ongoing troubleshooting and technical project management. The position requires five years of manufacturing controls experience, knowledge of industrial automation technologies and safety standards, and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
