Description
Fluidstack is hiring a Facility Controls Engineer to own the control and data contract between its facility energy controller and third-party power plant controllers. The role defines objects, fields, units, update rates, and staleness behavior; specifies operational sequences and constraints; translates electrical and generation requirements into software requirements; validates interfaces in simulation; and supports automated commissioning. Candidates should have experience with industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, REST APIs, DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus TCP, and schema-driven contracts, along with the ability to prototype integrations, test point maps, and review software. Python or Go is preferred.
