NorthWind Technical Services is hiring an entry-level Controls Engineer I for its Project Engineering Department. The role develops automation software and PLC, HMI, and computer programs; troubleshoots installed systems; powers up and configures electrical hardware; supports customer-site startup and commissioning; writes user manuals; trains users; and provides post-project support. The position requires a BS degree in engineering, knowledge of industrial automation and related processes, proficiency with listed software, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally, work overtime, weekends, and holidays, and perform physical work involving lifting and driving.
