Universal Orlando is hiring a Controls Engineer I in Orlando to redesign and develop ride and show control and software systems, improve reliability and safety, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, conduct fault analysis, manage projects through installation and testing, and generate engineering documentation. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with 3+ years of theme-park control-systems experience or 5+ years in an equivalent environment. Required technologies include PLCs, ladder logic, variable-frequency drives, servo controls, HMIs, SCADA, industrial networks, and motor control systems.
