Universal Orlando is hiring a Controls Engineer II in Orlando to redesign and develop ride and show control and software systems, improve reliability and safety, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, conduct fault analysis, coordinate engineering projects, maintain configuration documentation, and mentor early-career controls engineers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field, at least five years of theme-park control-systems experience, and knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, variable-frequency drives, servo controls, industrial networks, and safety standards.
