LAPORTE is hiring an intermediate Controls Engineer for a full-time role in Detroit, Michigan. The position supports controls and automation projects across pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming; industrial network design; control system specifications; documentation; commissioning and startup; electrical troubleshooting; and control panel design. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least two years of industrial controls, system integration, or consulting experience are required, with Allen-Bradley PLC, HMI, and programming software expertise required and additional automation technologies desirable.
