Ford is hiring a Controls Engineer to lead problem solving for tooling, equipment, conveyor, and automation performance issues and downtime. The role coordinates root-cause analysis, manages industrial barcode printers, designs and programs vision-control systems, monitors equipment through plant software, reprograms machinery, installs automation and robotics, maintains controls networks, and supports training and safety activities. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of controls engineering experience; electrical backgrounds, PLC/CNC, robotics, networking, and manufacturing-improvement experience are preferred. The position is onsite and offers salary grades 6–8 ranging from $72,480 to $162,120, with medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage.
