Description
Skillforce is hiring an experienced Controls Engineer for a 1–2 month automation and controls project in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and optimizing PLC control systems; supporting automated material handling and production systems; diagnosing electrical and controls issues; calibrating sensors and transducers; and assisting with system startup, commissioning, and modifications. The position requires Rockwell Studio 5000 v38 experience, strong Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting skills, and availability for night shifts of 8–12 hours per day. Compensation is $50 per hour, with $197 per day per diem for qualified travelers.
