Description
The Controls Integration Engineer is responsible for on-site deployment, integration, and commissioning of automated material-handling equipment, including sorters, conveyor systems, and automated work cells. The role provisions and validates Linux-based IPCs, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and field devices; performs I/O checkouts, network validation, system bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting; and provides technical leadership to contractors, technicians, and other on-site personnel. The engineer also supports integration with Warehouse Control Systems and higher-level orchestration layers, documents issues and lessons learned, and contributes to commissioning standards and continuous improvement. The position requires networking, industrial communication protocols, and up to 50% travel, with preferred programming and large-scale commissioning experience.
