Description
The Controls Integration Engineer supports the on-site deployment, integration, and commissioning of automated material-handling equipment such as sorters, conveyors, and automated work cells. The role involves configuring Linux-based IPCs, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and field devices; performing I/O checkouts, wiring verification, device validation, dry runs, functional testing, and integrated system testing; troubleshooting subsystem issues; and coordinating with technicians, electricians, contractors, and senior engineers. It is an early-career technical role with mentorship and progressive ownership, requiring experience with infrastructure automation, modern programming, and Linux/Unix, with CI/CD experience preferred.
