Description
Terranova is hiring a Mechatronics and Controls Intern to develop adaptive algorithms for intelligent robotic systems. The role involves designing and tuning PID, MPC, and optimal or robust controllers; building and validating physical models; training and deploying supervised or reinforcement-learning models; integrating algorithms with firmware and cloud systems; and optimizing performance under latency, jitter, and compute constraints. Candidates should be working toward a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field and hold U.S. permanent residency. The internship runs from August through December depending on the school schedule and pays $25–$35 per hour plus relocation and company perks.
