Kodiak Robotics is hiring an experienced Controls Software Engineer for its Motion Planning & Controls team. The role designs and implements feedback, control, and actuation strategies; develops redundant, safety-critical software for autonomous trucks; characterizes vehicle dynamics; and works on redundant actuation, degraded operation, and fail-safe control. Candidates should have production-level MATLAB and Simulink experience, automatic code generation to embedded C or C++, controller development, system modeling, and a strong controls foundation. The position is based in Mountain View, California, with a base salary of $190,000–$260,000 USD and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
