Description
NOV is hiring a Software/Firmware Engineer to design, develop, test, commission, and maintain software and firmware for product automation and control systems. The role involves translating requirements into functional implementations, troubleshooting control-system issues, supporting system integration and field commissioning, maintaining software artifacts, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and field-service teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Control Systems Engineering or a related field, 3–5 years of relevant software or firmware development experience, and knowledge of IEC 61131-3 or C/C++ programming, with industrial automation and communication-protocol experience preferred.
