Samara Aerospace is hiring a Controls System Engineer to develop and iterate on a novel spacecraft attitude control and noise-cancellation system for its Hummingbird first-flight vehicle. The role involves high-fidelity MuJoCo simulation, Monte Carlo analysis, system identification, feedback and feedforward control, momentum management, and active noise cancellation for synchronized multi-joint actuators. Candidates should have a BS, MS, or PhD with the stated experience requirements, plus experience with control systems, flexible or resonant plants, state estimation, sensor fusion, and scientific computing.
