Upstate Niagara Cooperative is hiring a Controls Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial control systems in a dairy production environment. The role covers PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, vision systems, motors, power distribution, control panels, sensors, calibration, electrical schematics, industrial networks, and equipment documentation. The technician leads troubleshooting, coordinates shift handoffs, reports operational issues, and supports SOP development. An associate degree and 3–5 years of experience or equivalent education and experience are required, with dairy and food-processing knowledge preferred. The position pays $30–$40 per hour and requires physical work in a production environment.
