Powers is hiring a full-time, entry-level Controls Technician to install, service, and repair HVAC control systems in commercial establishments. The role involves installing control components, reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints, verifying building-control operation, working with multiple control systems, and meeting project deadlines. Candidates need customer communication skills, basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, computer ability, attention to detail, reliability, and responsibility; one or more years of electrical or HVAC controls/installation experience and building automation software knowledge are preferred. The position is safety-sensitive and requires background checks and drug screenings.
