Description
The Controls Engineer will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, test, install, and repair plant control systems, instrumentation, electrical systems, PLCs, motors, fans, breakers, valves, and related equipment in a food manufacturing facility. The role also updates manufacturing software and Ethernet networking systems, writes PLC logic, performs preventative and corrective maintenance, supports robotics and HMI interfaces, and maintains electrical and network communications. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems experience, PLC programming and troubleshooting skills, instrumentation and motion-control experience, and strong food-safety knowledge. It involves cold-environment work, physical activity, PPE, and possible overtime, weekends, and holidays.
