Description
HDR is hiring a Conveyance Intern to gain real-world engineering experience on water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The intern will work under the direct supervision of a senior-level Engineer, assisting with planning, modeling, and design; evaluating utilities for process improvements, grant opportunities, and system operations; and participating in mentoring and young professionals programs. The role requires current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program, attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills, basic Microsoft Office skills, and an active commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture. Preferred qualifications include three completed years toward a degree with a 3.0 GPA, knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling platforms, and local candidacy.
