Description
The Cook prepares and cooks a wide variety of menu items, including hamburgers, grilled meats, eggs, sandwiches, salads, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and juices. The role also involves serving food, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining food safety and inventory controls, providing courteous customer service, and following safety and sanitation regulations. Candidates need basic food-preparation knowledge, the ability to follow instructions and work safely, knowledge of food-service equipment and food-safety principles, and a Food Handlers Card.
