Description
The Salvation Army is hiring a part-time Cook & Custodian for its Laredo Corps in Laredo, Texas. The role prepares and serves nutritional meals and snacks, cleans kitchen facilities and equipment, maintains food and supply inventory, and follows food-safety and meal-planning procedures. Applicants need a high school diploma or G.E.D., one year of experience cooking for large groups or equivalent training and experience, and a Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain one; a valid state driver’s license is preferred. The position requires physical work involving standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
