Description
The Guam Registered Apprentice Program offers a three-year Culinary Arts Apprenticeship for a local hire in Guam. The apprentice will attend classroom instruction, work approximately 34 hours per week in a hotel kitchen, and rotate through all core hotel kitchen operations. Responsibilities include preparing meals to portion and quality standards, minimizing waste, coordinating with managers and other departments, following safety procedures, and maintaining a professional appearance. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, be bona fide residents of Guam for at least three years, and be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens.
