Aveo is hiring a permanent part-time Cook for Mountain View Retirement Village in the Tweed Valley. The role prepares nutritious meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements, maintains food safety and kitchen standards, supports stock control, and builds connections with residents. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Applicants need prior kitchen, cook, or chef experience, strong communication skills, and at least two COVID-19 vaccinations; a commercial cookery or food safety certificate is desirable. Pay is $30.34 per hour on weekdays, $45.51 per hour on Saturdays, and $53.10 per hour on Sundays, plus superannuation and relevant award entitlements.
