Description
The Cook prepares, cooks, and serves nutritious meals for residents in an assisted living setting, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and timely service. The role includes menu participation, inventory support, kitchen cleaning, temperature monitoring, emergency procedures, and teamwork with dietary aides and other staff. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least one year of cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care. The position pays $15-$16 per hour and requires availability for weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
