Description
The Cook prepares hot and cold food for patients, employees, visitors, and physicians at Providence Milwaukie Hospital, using prep and production cooking equipment, following recipes and department specifications, and complying with hospital and food-service regulatory requirements. The role provides courteous food service, may serve as a lead when managers or coordinators are unavailable, and requires a National Food Handler Card, two years of restaurant or institutional food-service experience in production cooking, and food-preparation experience. Diversified line, grill, broiler, production, soup, or sauté cooking experience is preferred.
