Description
The Cafeteria Cook assists with preparing facility meals, cooking food according to menus and production sheets, maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas, controlling knives and other kitchen tools, preparing special-diet foods, cleaning work areas, and coordinating inmate assistance in the cafeteria. The role is full-time at $19.27 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of food service or related experience, a valid New Mexico or Texas food handler’s permit, and a valid New Mexico or Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
