Description
The Cafeteria Cook assists with preparing facility meals, cooking food according to menus and production sheets, maintaining kitchen equipment and sanitation, controlling knives and other controlled tools, preparing special-diet meals, cleaning work areas, and coordinating inmate cafeteria assistance. The role is full-time at $19.27 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of food service or related experience, a valid New Mexico or Texas food handler’s permit, and a valid New Mexico or Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
