Description
The Kitchen Prep Cook assists the Kitchen Manager by preparing vegetables, meats, and poultry; measuring and portioning food; moving food between workstations, smokers, and refrigerators; cleaning equipment and work areas; and maintaining food safety and sanitation. The role requires reading kitchen manuals, handling multiple tasks, using restaurant equipment, and completing six months of previous job-related experience. A Food Handler’s Permit is required where applicable, and the position involves prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and occasional heavy lifting.
