Description
The Cook prepares and serves nutritional meals and snacks for large groups, manages kitchen inventory and food donations, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and cleans kitchen facilities and equipment. The role also supervises volunteers and community service workers as needed and assists with seasonal program events. Applicants need a high school diploma or G.E.D., one year of experience cooking for large groups or equivalent training and experience, a valid state driver's license, and a Food Handler's Certificate or ability to obtain one.
