Description
The Cook prepares and cooks food for residential patients, employees, and patient guests, including therapeutic diets, menu items, and standardized recipes. The role also handles food safety and sanitation, kitchen cleaning, meal counts, equipment checks, food storage, and coordination with the Food Services Supervisor. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, basic culinary math, dependability, knowledge of therapeutic diets and food protection procedures, and the ability to perform physically demanding kitchen work.
