Description
The Cook prepares and cooks meals according to recipes and menus, maintains a clean and organized kitchen, assists with tray service and plating, serves food promptly to residents, collaborates with the dietary team on special diets, and maintains food-preparation and inventory records. The role requires a fast-paced kitchen environment, attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to lift, push, and pull food carts and supplies up to 50 pounds; prior nursing home or similar cook experience is preferred.
