Description
Gurnee Place Memory Care is hiring a part-time Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for a senior living memory care community. The role includes following planned menus, recipes, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards; assisting with food preparation and baking; maintaining kitchen cleanliness; monitoring inventory; interacting respectfully with residents; and supporting special meals and events. Previous cooking experience and a food handler certification are required, while senior living or healthcare experience and ServSafe certification are preferred. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
