Description
The Cook prepares nutritious, diet-compliant meals for residents in a structured kitchen environment, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The role follows therapeutic diet orders and standardized recipes, prepares texture-modified foods, monitors food temperatures, portions resident trays, maintains sanitation and kitchen records, operates commercial equipment, and manages inventory. Prior healthcare, institutional, or high-volume food-service cooking experience is preferred, while ServSafe Food Handler Certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
