The role prepares food according to standardized recipes and service schedules, controls portions and temperatures, maintains kitchen cleanliness and food-safety standards, operates kitchen equipment, and supports production planning, recordkeeping, and ordering. The schedule is full time with days varying and hours from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with previous experience preferred and a New York City Food Handler's certificate required. The pay range is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, with free meals, uniforms, and laundering service available at select locations.
