Description
The Cook prepares meals according to approved menus and recipes while accommodating residents’ special dietary needs. The role includes food preparation, sanitation, temperature monitoring, portion control, equipment and tableware reporting, menu substitutions, kitchen readiness, and supervision of dietary staff when the Dining Services Director or Supervisor is absent. The Cook must have dining-services experience, Serv-Safe certification or willingness to complete it within 60 days, food-preparation and cooking experience, and the ability to work flexible evening, weekend, and holiday schedules. The pay range is $18.40 to $18.95.
