Description
The Culinary Artisan is a casual kitchen brigade role at Mauna Lani on the Kohala Coast, Hawaii. The position works independently across pantry and banquet duties, assists the chef with special dinners and functions, develops daily features and special menus, handles food requisitions, and leads service when the chef is absent. It also provides mentorship, training, daily preparation, and technique guidance. The role requires formal culinary training or education, one year of Cook II or previous Cook I experience, proficiency in culinary methods, precision and attention to detail, TB test clearance, and Food Handler certification. The base salary is $32.46 per hour, with a $1,000 hiring bonus for successful candidates.
