Description
The Cook prepares and cooks simple foods such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and vegetables; prepares, measures, and assembles ingredients; operates kitchen equipment; cleans work areas and equipment; and follows sanitation procedures. The position is based at the Challenger Bingo Hall in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with Tuesday through Friday shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applicants must have experience preparing and cooking simple foods in a cafeteria, restaurant, or mess, and must complete required food-safety training, background checks, and a medical examination.
