Cook - Substitute, Head Start at Communify

The Cook I prepares and serves 80–120 nutritious hot meals and snacks daily for children, parents, and staff in Children’s Services Programs, while purchasing food supplies, maintaining kitchen sanitation, completing meal documentation, and supporting staff meetings and case conferencing. The temporary position works as needed in the Lompoc and Buellton areas, starts at $18.00 per hour, and requires two years of kitchen-helper or comparable group-food-preparation experience, a current California driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a ServSafe certificate.
