Description
The Direct Support Professional provides in-home support to intellectually and developmentally challenged adults, helping them participate in daily routines and recreational activities. Responsibilities include supporting individuals and their families, coordinating with community resources, providing training and habilitation, documenting progress, communicating with stakeholders, and participating in company training and meetings. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree in human services or three years of relevant experience, a California driver’s license and automobile insurance, and English proficiency; bilingual English/Armenian or English/Cantonese is preferred.
