Description
The Airport Wheelchair Services Coordinator monitors airline requests and staffing for wheelchair services, reviews daily manning, approves personnel extensions, coordinates with airline representatives, manages wheelchair vouchers, counts wheelchairs at the end of the shift, and reports personnel and service events. The role coordinates services across security, ramp, bag room, catering, skycaps, and porters; requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of airport customer-service experience, English and Spanish communication, computer literacy, and eligibility for a CBP seal and airport ID. It is a full-time position with variable shifts, a company vehicle, and physical demands including standing, walking, driving, and occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds.
