The Human Subjects Research Compliance Specialist supports the Office of Research's mission by leading Institutional Review Board (IRB) compliance assurance. The specialist monitors and audits research projects to ensure adherence to state and federal laws, university policies, and IRB review protocols. Key responsibilities include identifying compliance issues, recommending corrective actions, consulting with Principal Investigators, ensuring informed participant consent, and managing documentation for federally regulated human subject studies.
