Description
Sperry Rail is hiring a Certified Trainee/Apprentice for a high-travel, field-based Rail Flaw Detection (RFD) non-destructive testing role. The position involves training at Sperry’s Connecticut-based school, extensive field experience, ultrasonic testing certification, equipment setup and troubleshooting, railroad safety procedures, and eventual advancement to operating a testing platform or leading a crew. The role is based around Roberval, Val d’Or, and La Tuque, with Montreal listed as a recruitment area, and requires extended travel of 3–4 months at a time.
